Night Blooming Cyrus

Last Summer (1996) we had some spectacular luck with our night
blooming cyrus plants. From July to October we must have had over two
dozen blossems from 4 different plants.
Below are some photos taken in late July.
The two images above were taken with a polaroid instant camera.
The quality is not too high but it was quick and easy to get.

This is a closeup taken from a recorded
image on our camcorder and then brought in via our new SNAPPY. As
you can see the quality is much better.

We got two more blossoms on one of our plants.
This
picture was taken with a relatively inexpensive digital camera.
For anyone who is unaware. These plants only bloom for one night
and put out a very powerful odor. Most people find the odor beatiful
but it can be a little overpowering. Kind of like a woman who over
does the perfume!!!
